We have noticed that more and more medical stores are offering penis pumps. I wonder if it all started with the pot-t-vac commercials, or if all of these medical supply places have always had pumps for sale, they are just more noticeable. We have seen that places offering medicaid covered penis pumps have been in the news lately, and we see more places online that offer the more expensive, medically recommended devices with “tension bands” or “penis rings”.

imp aid vacuum erection device

I think it’s great that these devices are winning over mainstream popularity for the use of erectile dysfunction. I am glad to see that there are more places offering them, and we are seeing more designs available on the market. It’s also good that there are FDA approved devices, and medicaid approved devices as well. soon, having a penis pump may be no different than having a toothbrush, or other device that is used to promote general health and well being.

I hope that people who are considering a purchase of any of the expensive, medical pumps like the Encore Impo Aid Battery Vacuum Erection Device (OTC), Pos-T-Vac BOS2000-3 Battery Operated Erection System, Timm Osbon ErecAid Classic Manual Operated Vacuum Erection Device OTC, and similar devices, will consider the alternatives. I think these more expensive models are great, but it would not be my first purchase. I would instead choose one of the less expensive pumps and get a feel for how they work – then consider an upgrade if I thought I needed the batter powered models, or something different.

We will soon release more information about treating ED using a pump and a combination of other tricks and treats. For now I would suggest everyone consider that there is not much between a $500 “vacuum erection device” that comes with “tension bands”, and $50 penis pump that comes with some cock rings. You can save a lot of money, and try some different features of several pumps for the same price as purchasing one of those premium “FDA approved” models. You may also find that you will want to consider some of the enhancements offered by male sex toy sellers, like cyberskin lips and such – that could making pumping much more fun, and will not be able to find those attachments at your local medicare store.

The first time I saw a commercial for the pos-t-vac penis pump on TV I was blown away, I was amazed that the cable channels were running a commercial for a penis pump. I actually recorded it, it was a 30 minutes long infomercial the first time I saw it. I was very interested to see how they were promoting the benefits of a penis pump, in a TV friendly way, and impressed that they got this particular device approved by the FDA for marketing, and covered by medicare.

They showed some basic animations of how the pump works to draw blood into the penis, and showed that it was effective for treating erectile dysfunction, or E.D. They had a guy in a doctors lab coat promoting the science behind it, and several people giving testimonials about the effectiveness. I’m not sure if there was a disclaimer saying that the people were paid actors or not, and the recording I had of the infomercial was abandoned when I split ways with the former GF. It did make me consider making some commercial for our pumps however, and made me realize that using the right wording would make it safe enough for tv. Since then I have seen several more shorter commercials on other stations promoting the pos-t-vac.

Looking at the pos-t-vac online, it appears to be a basic pump, with some addons that you do not find on the basic ones that you normally see in the sex toy stores. Being battery operated (some of the available pos-t-vac models) and including cock rings is something that you do not find with most of the cock pumps in the sex toy market, but you can get all of those options, without spending the several hundred dollars that they are charging for this system. There are a few pumps in our online store that are battery operated, and you can choose from many different cock rings to add to them.

Check out the Automatic stay hard pump – it’s under $100, not $500 like the pos-t-vac.

Also see the battery powered penis erection pump, it is a push button model that looks just like the pos-t-vac – for under $100.

The one thing that the pos-t-vac has that I have not seen on any other commercial pump is this cone thing you can attach that makes it easier to stretch the cock ring onto the pump. It’s a neat idea, but how necessary this is, I don’t know. I don’t think it is very hard to stretch a cock ring onto a pump without this cone contraption. I also think that many men may prefer to use different cockrings, including ones that tie around, or snap on. Those types of cock rings you would not put onto the pump before use anyway. It is also not very difficult to put a ring around your cock quickly wen you have achieved an erection anyway. I do like the option that they have come up with though, it is a novel idea to put a cock ring onto the pump before use, some people may want to try that out and see how it works for them, I just don’t think the loading cone is necessary.

pos-t-vac picture

The pos-tvac is approved by the FDA for marketing and is covered by medicare. This is great, I am glad to see that medicare is doing what it can to help people have a healthy sexually fulfilled life. This is good for men and women. I am a little disappointed that they are charging so much for it, and I am not sure if medicare is covering all the models that are available, or the only cover a certain amount, and if you want the more expensive battery operated one, the you have to come out of pocket or what? I do think that people should be more responsible and check out the other options, if I was on medicare and felt the need to try a pump for ED, then I would buy a cheaper $30 pump, try it out a few times, and then decide if I wanted American tax dollars to fund a $300 pump for me, or choose one the less expensive models and pay for it myself.

The pos-t-vac system is marketed on several web sites, I think the site that is advertised in the commercial is the Rejoyn.com – which is now offering some male orgasm delay creams and such. There are other web sites that offer ways to buy one, and there are several sites that have discussions about the effectiveness of the pumps as well. You can many of these sites by doing a google search for postvac.

Personally I prefer pumps that not only help you get an erection, but also can provide a great masturbation experience. For me, I would choose a pump that can help get a hard on when I am going to have sex with a partner, but also can be used without partner to get a hard on, and then masturbate with it. There are several great pumps available today that have soft cyberskin pump seals, and other options that make for a great masturbation experince. You can find pumps that have ribbed inner sleeves, and vibrator attachments as well. With all of those options available, for less than half the cost of the FDA approved system, why not try something that does more for less.

See also the Tyler Faith fuck pump – with cyberskin mouth pump seal (Only $40)

the TES – Totel Erection system pump with cyberskin sleeve, vibrator attachment and cock ring. (Only $60)
